IronYun and Swear Take Top Honors in NPS Awards at ISC West
Cloud-based video management technology provider IronYun took home Best New Product honors at the 2024 SIA New Products and Solutions Awards, unveiled at ISC West in Las Vegas recently. SIA has been recognizing the best companies and solutions serving the security industry since 1979 and ISC West again featured the NPS Showcase, where attendees could see the nominated products (and winners) in each category. Crystal trophies were awarded for the best new product in 26 categories, but IronYun was voted the best new product overall. The other top honor—Judge’s Choice Award—went to Swear for its Swear Authenticity Engine.
IronYun’s Vaidio 8.0 platform’s unique architecture, according to CEO Paul Sun, enables users to virtualize analytics functions and scale operation easily. It is purpose-built for managed services providers and delivers subscription-based video analytics-as-a-service via the cloud. Sun explained what makes the solution such a leap forward and what use cases customers are finding it serves in an interview with ISC News Editor-in-Chief D.J. Murphy:
Swear caught the NPS Awards Judges’ eyes by patented technology and the blockchain to ensure that any video shot by a user can be authenticated as real. In an environment where deepfakes can be created easily and for little cost, Swear’s technology can provide users who need it, the ability to authenticate digital video (in surveillance cameras, bodycams, phones, etc.) they have shot using the solution.
